TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. General Terms
    Sephora eGift Cards (in the U.S.) and Sephora plastic Gift Cards and eGift Cards (in Canada) (collectively, "eGift Cards") are distributed by CashStar Inc., a Delaware corporation ("CashStar" or "we" or "us"). Purchase, acceptance or use of a Sephora eGift Card purchased from CashStar constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions ("CashStar Terms"). CashStar reserves the right to change these CashStar Terms from time to time in its discretion.
  2. Gift Card Terms
    Sephora eGift Cards purchased in the U.S. are issued by LGCS Inc., a Florida corporation, and not by CashStar. Sephora Gift Cards and eGift Cards purchased in Canada are issued by Sephora Beauty Canada, Inc. and not by CashStar. Terms and conditions apply to the use or redemption of the Gift Cards (“Gift Card Terms”). Please visit http://www.Sephora.com/giftcardterms for complete Gift Card Terms, which may be amended at any time. The Gift Card Terms are separate from the CashStar Terms, which govern only the purchase of the Gift Cards. LGCS or Sephora Beauty Canada, Inc., respectively, and not CashStar, are solely responsible for determining the Gift Card Terms. For Gift Cards purchased in the U.S., neither Sephora USA, Inc. nor any of its subsidiaries or affiliates other than LGCS Inc. shall be liable to the cardholder with respect to a Gift Card. For Gift Cards purchased in Canada, neither Sephora USA, Inc. nor any of its subsidiaries or affiliates other than Sephora Beauty Canada, Inc. shall be liable to the cardholder with respect to a Gift Card. As provided in more detail in the Gift Card Terms:
    1. Gift Cards are redeemable only for merchandise sold at Sephora stores in the U.S. and Canada, on Sephora.com and Sephora.ca, on the Sephora mobile app, or at Sephora inside JCPenney stores.
    2. Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash except as required by law.
    3. Gift Cards do not expire and no fees of any kind will be charged against the unused balance of Gift Cards.
    4. You may not use a Gift Card to purchase other Gift Cards.
    5. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, or transferred for value except to the extent required by law.
    6. The value of any lost or stolen Gift Cards will not be replaced.
  3. View Your Balance
    There are four ways to check your Gift Card balance:
    1. Online via Desktop Computer: Sign into your Account on the Sephora website and click on your name for your account on the upper left-hand side of the page. From the My Account page, locate the Payments & Credits section and use the link to check your balance on the Gift Card.
      OR Click here to view our Gift Card page at Sephora.com. There is a section to check the balance at the bottom of the page.
    2. By Phone: Call 1-888-860-7897.
    3. In Store: A Cast Member can check the balance for you for Gift Card or eGift Cards (if you have a print out or your mobile device).
  4. Returns & Cancellations
    Sephora Gift Cards and eGift Cards are not returnable. You may not cancel your eGift Card once it is received. Purchasers who wish to cancel an eGift Card order prior to the day of its scheduled delivery to a recipient should contact CashStar's Customer Support prior to the delivery date selected during the purchase process.
  5. Our Policies
    Purchases of Gift Cards are subject to CashStar’s Privacy Policy. CashStar and LGCS, Inc. or Sephora Beauty Canada, Inc. may provide Gift Card purchasers with information about the redemption status of Gift Cards.
  6. Risk of Loss
    Ownership and risk of loss of Gift Cards passes to the purchaser as soon as we send our confirmation to the recipient. We are not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Cards. If you have any questions, please see the FAQs.
  7. Sephora Gift Card Customer Service
    If you need assistance with any aspect of your purchase, ownership, or use of your Gift Card, please contact Customer Support. Please refer to your order number, or be ready to supply your email address.
  8. Payment Methods
    Sephora Gift Cards may be paid for with a valid VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or PayPal.
  9. Delivery Information and Requirements for Gift Card Purchasers
    All orders of Gift Cards are subject to a process that compares purchaser information provided on the web site with information about the purchaser provided by the purchaser's financial institution. If there is a discrepancy, your Gift Card order may be delayed until it can be corrected. If the date on which you want a Gift Card delivered has passed and you have not received confirmation that the Gift Card was sent, please contact CashStar's Customer Support. Please refer to your order number, or be ready to supply your email address. We are not responsible for Gift Cards that are undeliverable or not received due to your failure to enter an accurate email address for the recipient. Please check to make sure the physical address or email address of the recipient is correct and contact CashStar’s Customer Support if you suspect the recipient did not receive his/her Gift Card.
  10. Reasons for Failed Delivery
    eGift Cards are delivered via email. If you have confirmed the recipient's email address but the eGift Card has not been viewed within a reasonable period after the requested delivery date, following is a list of the most common reasons why delivery may have failed:
    1. Spam filter blocked email or routed it to a bulk/spam folder
    2. Recipient's firewall blocked the email
    3. Email inbox is over size limit
    4. Invalid email address
    If a spam filter is blocking giftcards@cashstar.com emails from getting to an inbox, the email options will need to be modified so that giftcards@cashstar.com emails are not considered spam. If you need further assistance, contact CashStar’s Customer Support. Please refer to your order number, or be ready to supply your email address.
  11. Personalized Messaging
    If you wish to add a personal message to a Gift Card, simply type your message in the Message field on the Gift Card preview. Personal messages are limited in length to the space provided on the Gift Card. There is no additional charge to include a personalized message. We don't read every gift message, but if we do find inappropriate, offensive or otherwise objectionable messages, we reserve the right to cancel them. Thanks for your cooperation.
  12. Uploaded Images
    You may upload your own image for display on a Gift Card. There is no additional charge to include your own image. We reserve the right to replace inappropriate, offensive, or otherwise objectionable images. We reserve the right to replace images that infringe upon trademark or copyright law.   13. Limitation of Liability
    CASHSTAR AND ITS AFFILIATES MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO GIFT CARDS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF AN eGift Card IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND CASHSTAR AND LGCS, INC. AND Sephora BEAUTY CANADA, INC.’S SOLE LIABILITY, SHALL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH GIFT CARD. CERTAIN STATE LAWS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS, OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MIGHT HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.
  14. Governing Law and Disputes
    The laws of the State of Maine, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these CashStar Terms. You hereby consent that any dispute with CashStar or its affiliates relating in any way to Sephora Gift Cards shall be adjudicated in Cumberland County, Maine if the aggregate total claim for relief exceeds $7,500, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. As provided in the Gift Card Terms, Gift Cards purchased in the U.S. are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute concerning the Gift Card Terms shall be subject to arbitration as provided in the Gift Card Terms. Gift Cards purchased in Canada are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada (except to the extent that the laws of the Canadian province or territory in which you reside require that the laws of such jurisdiction apply), and any dispute concerning the Gift Card Terms shall be subject to arbitration as provided in the Gift Card Terms.
